Christine Francis is the founder and heart behind Caribbean Grill. Originally from Queens, New York, Christine moved to Germany with her family in 2010. After struggling to find the authentic, home-cooked Caribbean food she knew and loved, she decided to bring the flavors of her island heritage to Grafenwöhr.
In 2017, Christine opened Caribbean Grill, combining traditional family recipes with influences from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago. Every dish is prepared according to taste rather than strict written recipes, allowing her to cook with instinct, experience and passion.
Christine uses her own signature spice blends and prefers traditional, slow-cooking methods to preserve the full flavor and tenderness of the food. Together with her son Cameron, she creates generous, flavorful meals that reflect the warmth, vibrancy and love of Caribbean cuisine.
For Christine, Caribbean Grill is more than a restaurant — it is a way to share the food, culture and hospitality of the Caribbean with the local community.
